What does motor third party cover?
Injury to, or death of, other people caused by your vehicle, such as pedestrians, passengers and other road users. Compensation is up to UGX 1,000,000 per person and UGX 10,000,000 per accident. It does not cover damage to your own vehicle, to other people's property, or theft or fire.
Is it a legal requirement?
Yes. Motor third party insurance is compulsory for every vehicle on the road in Uganda. Driving without valid cover is an offence and leaves you personally liable for accident costs.
How long does the cover last?
12 months from the day it is issued.
What if the vehicle already has cover?
We tell you before you pay and show the existing sticker reference, so you never buy twice by mistake.

How can I pay?

MUA Insurance (Uganda) Ltd. This site takes your order and payment details to the insurer's system. The sticker and the confirmation email name the insurer.
